Hitch-Hiking Career: OVER

I smashed my finger... The doctor described it on the phone to the plastic surgeon as "Pulpified". He called for advice on how to repair it. The nail was torn completely off and the X-Ray showed a fracture at the tip. 6 stitches under my finger nail to re-attach the tip and then a bunch through the finger nail. It was sewn back on to be used as a "shim" to keep the nail channel open so that could "possibly" re-grow a new nail. Surfing out for 2-3 weeks and I'll have to kayak with a rubber glove tapped-up good to keep it water tight. He's the pic:
