Bahia de Los Angeles
Campo Archelon is really cool. Neat stone walled palapas right on the water. We awoke at dawn to prep our kayaks for fishing. No wind at all and a BEAUTIFUL sunset (pic here). Barely got away from shore before my first fish-on. The bay is crawling with Spotted Bay Bass. Nice little fighters but not much sie to them. Switched baits to try for a Yellowtail but no takers. More Spotted and a grouper (that spooled me) from the shore of Isla Smith that I paddled out to and fished from. The wind started to blow hard so I head for camp. 5hr paddle covering about 7 miles. Cooked in camp and listened to stories from a camping neighbor Richard who used to be a mercenary in Angola. Weird stuff...
