The Wind and Tides

Got up at 6am to paddle out into the Sea but found a steady 10mph wind with gusts to 15 so we bagged it. We just sat under our palapa and drank coffee and ate breakfast. We decided to head to Puertocitos immediately where the fishing is better and things are a little more Mexico. Campo Pete´s bar was packed with 60 year old ex'patriots. 20/20 on the tacos the day before was local faire might only be for local tummies. Rough night for me...

As we cleaned up camp to vamanos we discovered the Suburban has a flat. Leaky valve stem from a trip up and over a curb the day before. With good planning they had this nice pump to fill the tire and then we taped it up and headed for the Llantera (tire shop) to get it fixed. $5 and 30 mins and we were on the road.

Arrived in Puertocitos to find a ghost town so we pushed on. I had read about Punta Bufeo so we set course.
