Rolled out early (6:30am) and headed north on MEX19 toward La Paz. I was having a HELL of a time staying awake. I was pulling out leg hair and slapping myself in the face but still was drifting way too much. I stopped in Catavina which is 762 miles from where I started at around 9:30pm MEX1 is not a normal road. It passes through many towns with speed bumps and stops. It's not a straight shot by any stretch so 50mph average is good.
Got a room at a Motel for 350 pesos and within one minute in the room something bit me on the leg... I should have just slept in the car but I wanted a hot shower and a toilet.
